Cooking Thai: Healthy Food Without a Sigh

Have you ever wanted to cook delicious AND healthy food?  Thai food is some of the healthiest in the world and this hands-on workshop with Stacy Standley will show you how easy it is to prepare at home. Hot, sour, salty and sweet tastes are all rolled into simple cooking procedures.  Many Thai dishes are vegan because of the cuisine’s reliance on fresh vegetables and most are dairy free, except for eggs.  Stacy will demonstrate how to make basic salad dressings and dipping sauces and together you’ll prepare some of her favorite dishes like Tom Yum Soup, Thai Summer Salad, Crispy Thai Chicken and Apple Salad, and Easy Pad Thai, but there will be much more! Bring your apron!

Once you get the basic ingredients in your kitchen (and Stacy will advise of local stores or you can grow many of the vegetables in your own garden), you’re onto a new and fun way of cooking that’s good for you, the family and guests.

Please note: This will be a hybrid event. In-person space is limited to 12 people but all are welcome on zoom.
