Harpswell ROMEOs: Our Stars at Night are Big and Bright
Most people in the US can’t see the Milky Way at night due to light pollution. In Harpswell, we are part of a small few who still can. Howard Marshall, Southern Maine Astronomers (SMA) board member, will share how important dark skies are and what you can do to help. Then, join SMA for a free star party at Mitchell Field on October 24th at 5:30 pm to see for yourself. The ROMEOS event, which includes lunch is also free but registration is required due to limited seating. To register and for additional info, contact Tom Mahoney at oldermeneatingout@gmail.com.
