DESCRIPTION:Located at the Orr’s Island Library\, Elijah Kellogg Church\, Cundy’s Harbor Church of the Nazarene. \nSummer means fresh produce and the Sharing Tables make it free and easy to eat your veggies! Tables of contributed vegetables are set up each Wednesday at noon from June-October for folks to come and grab a few veggies. If you will use them\, come get some. Local gardeners can leave excess vegetables for others as well. What a great way to share summer’s bounty! This program is co-sponsored by the Harpswell Community Garden\, Merrymeeting Gleaners\, Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program\, and Harpswell Aging at Home.

SUMMARY:Meals in a Pinch
DESCRIPTION:Meals in a Pinch runs every other Tuesday and provides four meals to some of our Harpswell neighbors for a variety of reasons. Some are not able to consistently prepare meals because of health\, ability\, or mobility; others have difficulty obtaining food for practical or financial reasons. There is no income qualification–only a recognition that we all need some support at times. Whether an ongoing situation or a temporary need–like after a surgery or illness–Harpswell Aging at Home has meals available. Emergency meals can even be provided on the same day if necessary.
