SUMMARY:Meals in a Pinch
DESCRIPTION:Meals in a Pinch runs every other Tuesday and provides four meals to some of our Harpswell neighbors for a variety of reasons. Some are not able to consistently prepare meals because of health\, ability\, or mobility; others have difficulty obtaining food for practical or financial reasons. There is no income qualification–only a recognition that we all need some support at times. Whether an ongoing situation or a temporary need–like after a surgery or illness–Harpswell Aging at Home has meals available. Emergency meals can even be provided on the same day if necessary. DESCRIPTION:Sharing Tables brings tables of produce to three locations in Harpswell from 12-4 p.m. every Wednesday from mid-June through October. Produce is free to anyone who will use it. Gardeners can leave excess produce for others. Find tables at the Cundy’s Harbor Community Church of the Nazarene\, 863 Cundy’s Harbor Road\, Harpswell; Elijah Kellogg Churchl; and Orr’s Island Library.
