DESCRIPTION:Beat the winter blues. Connect with friends and share your favorite soup. We’ll have lunch together (rolls\, beverages\, and cookies will be provided) and try an assortment of the soups you bring. Come with 3-4 quarts of your favorite (hot) soup and several copies of your recipe. If you can bring your soup in a crockpot or instapot to keep it warm\, please do! DESCRIPTION:Meals in a Pinch runs every other Tuesday and provides four meals to some of our Harpswell neighbors for a variety of reasons. Some are not able to consistently prepare meals because of health\, ability\, or mobility; others have difficulty obtaining food for practical or financial reasons. There is no income qualification–only a recognition that we all need some support at times. Whether an ongoing situation or a temporary need–like after a surgery or illness–Harpswell Aging at Home has meals available. Emergency meals can even be provided on the same day if necessary.
