DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to learn Tai Chi? Here’s your chance to start. Join us for this six-week series of classes providing an introduction to this low-impact\, gentle exercise with roots in ancient Chinese martial arts. All ages are welcome and no experience or registration is necessary. Bring water and bug spray. \nThis event will be held every Wednesday morning through August 13 at the Mitchell Field Bandstand or Beach depending on the tide. These classes will be held rain or shine unless there is thunder or lightning. Missed class will be made up on August 20th.

DESCRIPTION:Harpswell Aging at Home’s Sharing Tables offer free produce from noon to 4 p.m. every Wednesday during the growing season\, beginning in mid-June\, at the Cundy’s Harbor Church of the Nazarene\, 863 Cundy’s Harbor Road\, Harpswell; Elijah Kellogg Church; and the Orr’s Island Library. Contributions come from Growing to Give\, the Harpswell Community Garden\, and the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program\, as well as local gardeners\, who may donate excess vegetables at their nearest Sharing Table.
